On 4 July – Bristol Independents Day – shoppers across the city shopped at independent outlets, and then showed us where they’d shopped by sending in a photo of themselves shopping, or a copy of their receipt. Anyone who showed us their shopping was entered into a prize draw to win goodies from other local independent retailers.

But what have all these shops and businesses got in common? They all supported the Open Day of the Stoke Lane Community Garden on 9 June by donating some fantastic raffle prizes.
