Presented once more by Love Local Events the Fair will also be open on Sunday this year with new eco-gift ranges, beautifully designed items and tasty organic treats. Dates for your diary are:

Mayor of Bristol George Ferguson has given the green light for St Nicholas Market stallholders to pay their pitch fees in Bristol Pounds.
This follows the Mayor’s announcement that he would receive his salary in the popular local currency.
By Christmas market stallholders will be able to pay the city council for their pitches in Bristol Pound notes or online payments.

DJ FAK will be spinning the tunes, there will be the prizes for the cone dolly comp and cake !! + kids can post their letters to Santa in Santa’s box – we may even get a reindeer.
Please wear a crazy possibly home made hat (there is a prize for the best) and or bring cake or chocolate. We won’t mind if you also bring lots of money to spend :). Shop will be open those days from 9am with the party starting at 12 midday till whenever.

Something spooky is being concocted in the Mullion Cove kitchen this Halloween. The Bristol based company which recently moved into the kitchens at Bordeaux Quay, has created limited edition pumpkin and bat shaped fairings making them the ideal treat to go Trick-or-Treating with. Each fairing is made using the original Mullion Cove fairing recipe and once baked, they are carefully decorated with velvety Belgium white chocolate. Whisk! success story brings much needed new jobs to South Bristol
Bristol catering and café entrepreneurs Whisk! have added eight people to the payroll since they launched operations from their Knowle West Health Park hub at the end of 2011.
Top chefs Mike Merelie and Evan Roberts have already added a second cafe at nearby Arnos Vale Cemetery and are scouring Bristol for more outlets for their unique offering of ‘good food where you least expect it’.
